Commercial RHI Reduces - October 2014

Published on 31/08/2014

The government has confirmed that the non domestic Renewable Heat Incentives (RHI) will reduce from 1st October 2014 for biomass installations.

From the 1st October the tariff will reduce from 8.4p/kWh for tier 1 payments to 7.6p. Tier 2 payments will reduce from 2.2p to 2.0p/kWh.

Biomass still offers incredibly generous payments so further cuts are expected for new entrants in the coming months. Do not delay if you are considering an installation.
