An air source heat pump installation typically consists of an outdoor heat exchanger, an indoor hot water storage cylinder and some controls and circulation pumps.
The outdoor unit looks much like a typical air conditioning system. Our air source heat pumps are much lower in cost and simpler to install than our equivalent ground source heat pump systems.

Installation Quality
When installing quality equipment, it is vital that the

For instance, we normally install the system with a high
performance un-vented copper cylinder (hot water storage tank). Un-vented
copper cylinders give all the benefits of high pressure hot water with improved
heating recovery times, improved anti-bacterial performance and reduced
maintenance when compared to stainless steel storage cylinders.
We also use an advanced controller that not only controls
the room temperature when the system is on but also controls the room
temperature at night and modifies how early the system needs to be turned on, to
reach your target temperature at different times of the year. This enables our air source heat pumps to run at maximum efficiency.
