Solar Panels Bolton

All that free energy from the sun usually goes to waste. You can take advantage of it. This energy can be used to heat water indoors or outdoors – for your hot water at home or in a commercial building or swimming pool outside. Solar panels in Bolton will operate even on a cloudy day and are a great back-up for your heating system and work out to be great energy savers, and help do your bit for the environment! If you use our popular solar panels which generate electricity, also called solar photovoltaic systems or solar PV, you can save on your power bills too.

Air & Ground Source Heat Pumps

A new technology that is less well known involves heat pumps, which are available in two types, air source and ground source. Heat pumps can provide your Bolton home with efficient heating and work by extracting the heat from the air, or ground and upgrade this, so it is suitable to be used in your home. These heat pumps are perfect for saving money on your heating bills and also help save the environment.
In Bolton, Intelligent Energy Solutions can supply the energy solution you are looking for, whether heat pumps or solar panels or even both.

Bolton coverage

Bolton has been a market town since 1251 when King Henry 111 granted a charter for a market in Churchgate and an annual fair.
Both before and during the industrial revolution Bolton was known all over the world for cotton spinning. This was aided by the soft water that is important for cotton production being in plentiful supply.
The Bolton coat of arms tells some of the story of Bolton. Firstly it includes an arrow for the archers that came from Bolton and played such a pivotal part in the Battle of Flodden Field in 1513. It also contains two symbols of the cotton industry. These are a spindle from Samuel Crompton’s spinning mule that he pioneered in Bolton and a weaver’s shuttle.
Perhaps the most unusual component of the coat of arms is the elephant at the top. This is said to reflect the fact that Bolton lay within the ancient diocese of Mercia which had an elephant as a symbol of the diocese.
There are also two black lions that recognise the Flemish immigrants that founded the textile industry in Bolton.
There are a number of theories for the name of Bolton. Perhaps the most credible is the fact that Bolton lies in a bowl formed by the surrounding hills and moors.
Even though textile industry still exists in Bolton it is no longer the main industry as the work has gone to other parts of the world. The old cotton mills have now either been demolished or turned to other purposes. Their attendant iconic chimneys have fallen in rapid succession over the last 50 years.
Apart from Samuel Crompton Bolton has a number of well-known faces in the current entertainment industry. These include: Peter Kay, Vernon Kay, Dave Spikey, Sarah Cox, Paul Nichols, Sammy Winward and Paddy McGuiness. Bolton is also home to Amir Khan whose boxing prowess is keeping him at the top of his sport.
It is well known that the North West of England has more than its fair share of rain. Bolton certainly fits this profile with the surrounding hills causing the clouds to shed their rain in the area.
Bolton has been a market town since 1251 when King Henry 111 granted a charter for a market in Churchgate and an annual fair.
The town motto of Bolton is “Supera  Moras” which means “overcome difficulties”
Bolton is home to the “Wanderers” also known as the “Trotters” . Bolton Wanderers are so called because in their early years they did not have a home ground. They therefore wandered  from ground to ground as other local teams hosted their matches.   Founder members of the Football League, Bolton were a successful cup side in the 1920s, winning the FA Cup three times. The club won the cup a fourth time in 1958 thanks to two Nat Lofthouse goals.
