Solar Panels
When the sun supplies us with free
energy each and every day, why not take advantage of it with solar
panels on your roof to collect all that energy? This energy can be used
to heat water indoors or outdoors – for yout hot water requirements, or
even your swimming pool. The solar panels are a great back-up for your
heating system and work out to be great energy savers. If you use our
popular solar panels which generate electricity, also called solar
photovoltaic systems, you can save on your power bills too, which is
even better for the environment.
Air & Ground Source Heat Pumps
Our heat pumps come in
two types – air source and ground source heat pumps. As the names imply,
air source heat pumps draw heat from the air which is then upgraded to
heat water in your home while ground source heat pumps draw from ground
and work in a similar way. Heat pumps are also a great way to save on
your heating bills, and also help the environment! In Rutland,
you’ll find that Intelligent Energy Solutions can supply the energy
solution you are looking for, whether heat pumps or solar panels or
something tailored to meet your needs.
Rutland Coverage
Rutland
is a landlocked county with rolling terrain and is a rural upland area
largely devoted to tillage and pasturage. Rutland also contains a
massive artificial reservoir created in the late 1970s which was known
as Empingham Reservoir during its construction, until its official
opening in 1976. It is known today as Rutland Water. Rutland
Water is a great place to relax, or explore the area on your bicycle,
particularly for families. Rutland Water is regularly holing the excess
of 20,000 waterfowl, and offers an exciting environmental display,
viewing gallery and excellent schools service. To date there have been
exciting sightings of exquisite birds and waterfowl, such as the
black-tailed godwit, which makes it a great place to visit for those
interested in birds and other beautiful feathered creatures.
In the 19th Century, Rutland was divided into the hundreds, being
Alstoe, East, Martinsley, Oakham and Wrandike, but in 1974 England’s
smallest county was merged into Leicestershire. Not surprising with its
greatest length North to South only 18 miles, and greatest breadth East
to West being 17 miles. However the county “Rutland” road signs still
remain in place today. More recently in 1997, after a long campaign the
county of Rutland, and the city of Leicester gain unitary status. Oakham
is again Rutland’s county town. Rutland is a place that is
steeped in history, particularly Oakham which bustles with activity
being twenty miles from Peterborough and Leicester. Every Wednesday and
Saturday, Oakham opens it markets, allowing items such as fish, fruits,
vegetables, cheeses as well as household goods to be bought and sold. Rutland
is home to many churches, some of which are currently being restored.
Some popular churches around Rutland include St Mary’s, St Joseph’s, St
John’s and St Nicholas. In 2007, Rutland became the fourth Fairtrade County and is showing to be one of the least deprived areas in the country. Why not start saving money today and invest in a system from Intelligent Energy Solutions for your home in Rutland? While
