Solar Panels

When the sun shines on our roofs, we are able to harvest the energy it makes by using solar panels to collect the free energy.  The energy that we collect from the sun can then be used to heat water indoors or even outdoors, with our Solar Thermal Panels! Solar panels provide great back up support for your heating system and are great energy savers too, which helps do your bit for the environment as well. Alternatively, you could invest in Solar Photovoltaic panels (solar PV) which provides your home with free electricity, these panels can save you ££’s off your electricity bills.

Air & Ground Source Heat Pumps

We also offer heat pumps which are available in two different types. They are air source and ground source. These heat pumps extract heat from the air or even ground, and convert this into heat that can be used in your home. Our range of heat pumps are perfect for saving money on your heating bills and providing your home with energy efficient heating.

If you’re not sure what’s best for your property and would like some impartial advice, please get in touch, and we can advise which technology is suitable for you and your home in Shropshire.

Shropshire Coverage

Shropshire is a county in the West Midlands of England which borders Wales to the west. Shropshire is one of England’s most rural and least populated county, with a low population density compared to other counties in England. Unusually Shropshire has no cities, but does have 22 towns, 2 of which are considered major towns in Shropshire. The largest is Telford, which has 30% of Shropshire’s population, followed by Shrewsbury which has 15%.

Unsurprisingly the economy of Shropshire was traditionally dominated by agriculture, and this can still be seen today, however in more recent years it has become more service orientated, but still widely agricultural.

Shropshire is known for its outstanding hills and the “Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty” which were founded in 1958, are no exception. The hills cover a quarter of this county, mainly covering the South-West of Shropshire.

Shropshire also has some beautiful waterways running through the county, particularly the River Severn which is the longest river in Great Britain. The River Severn begins in the Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales, it then flows through Shropshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. The River Severn looks predominantly beautiful from Shrewsbury Castle, and is certainly worth a look.

Traditional foods of Shropshire include the Shrewsbury Cakes, are made simply from flour, butter and sugar but are rarely found in Britain today, expect in domestic kitchens. Shropshire is also famous for its Shropshire Blue Cheese which is matured for 12 weeks, and is now widely made across the UK, on rather large scales in Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.
